Greetings from Van Horn, Texas!
Not much eventful or funny has really happened on this trip so far, largely because I have been preoccupied with driving. And most of that driving has been done in Texas.
This is the state that doesn't end, it just goes on and on my friends.
Geez louise, I spent last night in Cedar Hill Park just south of Dallas, drove over five hundred friggin miles and I am still 100 miles from El Paso! And I am only taking one friggin road!
Anyway, as I said nothing much happening here so far. Sorry to disappoint. I'll post in the near future when I find another Wifi spot.
Hope all is well,
-Dave

Don't taunt the road-trip gods by claiming that a particular state is boring to traverse ... Big Dave and I learned that lesson the hard way! I've gone from driving the Pimpmobile to driving the Limpmobile!
Oh, my car rocks. My 1998 civic is towing all of my worldly possesions and is not even complaining a little. God Bless Honda!
I am considering a Civic for the successor to the Pimpmobile. I am also considering going nuts and buying something sporty and convertible, since I'm now living the phat Cali lifestyle. Thriftiness and responsibility versus the desire to go "vroom! vroom!" What's a thermal engineer to do?
keep on driving!! hahaha... hilarious.. hope you got to El Paso, finally. and oh yeah, bless Honda!! thats y I luv my baby soo much :-)
Hey, I lived in Cedar Hill, Texas. It was a great place but its been a while. You're right, Texas never ends.
